Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy will be sworn-in as the new Chief Minister of the State on Thursday, senior Congress leader Pranab Mukherjee said after a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party in Hyderabad.
“Congress president Smt. Sonia Gandhi has selected Kiran Kumar Reddy as the new leader of the Congress Legislature Party. He will be sworn-in tomorrow by the Governor as the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh,” Mr. Mukherjee said in a brief statement.
